Short biographical sketch of (Johan) Peter Lutz who came to America in 1747 with his wife and two children and of his descendants through his son Frederick along with a description of a trip taken in 1992 to Austria and Germany tracing the roots of Peter Lutz before he settled in Pennsylvania. Among the places they visited was the Büchenbronn Evangelical Church in Germany where it is believed that Peter Lutz attended before coming to America.
